About Me

Hi, I’m Rob, a therapist who believes in down-to-earth, real conversations that lead to meaningful change.
If you're like many of my clients, you're thoughtful and insightful, but life still feels heavy sometimes. Maybe you’re carrying around a lot of “shoulds.” Maybe you’re successful on paper but feel stuck inside. Or maybe you’re sorting through questions about who you are, how you relate to others, or what you want next.

My job is to walk alongside you—no judgment, no pressure—and help you figure it out. I create a space where you can be honest (even if you're not sure where to start), explore patterns that aren’t serving you, and build the kind of self-trust and clarity that lasts beyond the therapy hour.

I’m naturally curious and enjoy helping people make sense of things. I aim to understand without judgment and to offer insight that’s actually helpful.
How did I become a therapist? I’ve always been curious about mental health, partly because I dealt with a lot of anxiety growing up. That personal experience gives me both empathy and perspective when I sit with clients. Robin Williams' portrayal of a therapist in Good Will Hunting also sparked something for me—I found it fascinating and I wanted to learn more. Later, during an undergraduate internship working with children in foster care, I saw firsthand how powerful therapy can be for people going through hard times.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. As long as you're physically located in NC, NJ, NY, CT or MA during our sessions, I'm licensed to see you.
If you're interested in working together, I invite you to schedule a free 15 minute consultation phone call, so that we can get to know each other and decide if we're a good fit to move forward with therapy. You can book that consultation call by clicking below:
